Episode 13... Please make it stop

I hate the marriage interview episodes in Super Sentai. Really, truly, and aggressively hate them. I hate the pushy relatives, I hate the pretending to date a teammate, and I hate the hapless losers who sometimes show up as potential partners. This episode takes every aspect of those episodes and slathers on a coat of terrible 90s fashion and bad guest actor ADR. This episode can go to hell. It can go to hell and die.

Totally agreed with the verdict on In Space's version of this epiaode. I generally do like the marriage arrangement stories in sentai though as they often turn out to be fun albeit filled with tropes. But this is a really really poor American attempt at it.

It really doesn't help that these kids are ostensibly still in high school, too.

To paraphrase from Age of Extinction, it's not rape, it's California Code 290-294. Finally got around to watching this episode. Too bad the translation was so poor that it came off as creepy. It also doesn't help that they dressed Grandma like the Fresh Prince of Angel Grove.
