Not too long ago I picked up a Sons of Anarchy Harley from Toys "r" Us with the intnet to repaint it red. In truth, I wanted a proxy for Machine Kivaa and I shopped around a bit and settled on the Maisto SoA range. I would've preferred a Honda Shadow 750, but I couldn't find one in the appropriate 1/12 scale





I took the bike apart and sanded the gas tank to eliminate any raised relief that would be caused by the applied design, primed the pieces I wanted white and then went over them with a Tamiya spray red.

No sculpting of specific details with green stuff, I wanted to maintain a somewhat neutral look to the bike in case, the fates willing, we actually receive a proper Kivaa with (highly hopeful) a release of a SHF Kiva.

Would've looked nicer in a darker red but that's still a good paint app.
