I read that Emperor Heisei will abdicate the throne at the end of 2018 which means Build will be the the final Heisei series. Do you think Toei will create a third era of Kamen Riders or keep them as Heisei?

Tough to say. I can see them making a big thing because 2019 will be ten years since Decade as well...but if you mean a massive tone and production shift, then no, certainly not. The current formula works too well.

I really want they make V-Cinema for Kamen Rider Decade

Maybe in this V-Cinema, Decade has all Neo Heisei Riders Cards from W to Build series.

No I didn't mean a tone and production shift. Just a new name for Kamen Riders beyond 2018 or 2019.

I think it's important to note here that Shin, ZO, and J are all considered Showa Riders even though they aren't.

That's why I feel whatever comes after Build even if it's after Heisei's reign will be the last to have that 10 year anniversary of Decade then begin a new era.

True. I guess the rationale is that they are not TV shows or whatever since Kuuga is Heisei Ichigo.

i always took i knbow the hole japane era thing. but i always looked like this that in rider terms showa era ended when the creator of the show passed away.

Toei consider them to be Showa since they are from the original creator. Just like how Toho considers Godzilla 1984 to be a Heisei movie despite coming out in the Showa era.

The justification for that is just odd but whatever, if they say so then so be it. Besides, I think Kuuga as Heisei no.1 is better publicity than an organic grasshopper cyborg who just mutilates bad guys like no other and his story stopped at the prologue.
