There's NFC compatability, with an ingame screenshot showing Orb's cards and Z's medals as examples of things that can be scanned

Remember when Tsuburaya made a Monster Hunter style game with the Ultra Monsters?

Anyway, bizarre, but kind of a fun idea for a game, though I've never played Monster Rancher before.

It is a fitting crossover when you consider that Ultraman Capsule monsters served as one of the original inspirations for the Pokemon franchise, which Monster Rancher followed.
