Fire Candle stole the Shinkenger Ring and becomes the second Universe Warrior Shinken Red? I sure didn't see that coming...

Speaking of the ring, for some reason Oto's consciousness is bound to it. Could this be the doing of the grey eyed man, who apparently will appear next episode?

I love how Oto writes "fire" in hiragana and not in kanji.

I must say that the homage to Shinkenger is done very cleverly. Samurai and gyaru are completely different things on one hand, and on the other - purely Japanese. Also, the change of the owner of the ring and the fire motif are also interesting details. The combination of the drama of Sumino, whose sister was found, but forgot about her, with the comedy caused by the thematic No-One, is a distinctive and strong feature of Gozyuger. The plot also develops a lot. Rikuo learns about the gray-eyed man who took Oto (and we see him briefly in the preview). Fire Candle takes possession of the ring, sending Oto into a coma and becoming a Universe Warrior. Well, it's not just Garudo who does all the evil. In any case, the next episode promises a battle between him and Hoeru, as well as the appearance of Shinken-Oh and... a festival. So exciting, fun, dramatic and downright crazy. Gozyuger at their best.
P.S. Also, Kumade doesn't do much in this show and he admits it himself. But at least he and Hoeru once again demonstrate the power of TegaWhiteBurne.

Isn't it the same as Kinjiro's rejuvenation?

There are a lot of mysteries with this grey-eyed guy. At first I thought that he and Rikuo's early image were just a coincidence, but now I think that they might be somehow connected.

Most likely, but wouldn't be surprised if they decided to make it a red herring just to mess with the audience.
