If Sara becomes a Rider and Keiwa accidentally touches that Core ID, could he reverse-engineer something and be like Zangetsu and Genm by switching to a new device?

Nothing too crazy this episode, but it was nice. Really curious about what exactly this next round will be like, since this has basically been a tutorial round so far.
Also, I nearly spat on my screen when I saw Hallelujah Ween's name.

By the way, this is probably a projection, but I thought that the bear riders in the "Geats" basically correspond to their animals. Dapan is a weak rider, unable to survive on his own and too bad-tempered to make friends. Shiro, the "polar bear", is a strong player (after all, third place in the past DGP), but is doomed to die due to circumstances that he cannot influence. PunkJack, the "brown bear", is the most successful of the trio.

"Naturally the protagonist gets the superpower-up that beats the boss." -Ace probably.
I don't think I have much to add on to this episode, which I enjoyed, but I can't come up with much to say other than I had a strong feeling the butler guy was secretly the Game Master. Also, PunkJack face reveal. It was nice to see everyone at each other instead of working together to beat the final boss, even though Buffa did somewhat influence Geats. Now a new game begins and is Ace basically becoming a super star in the eyes of the DGP executives so that he can get any wish he wants, since it sounds like there are some things the host is against giving out, which makes me wonder if Ace's mom is that special in the case of this series. Next Episode: "Just in time for Halloween!" It's already over, PunkJack...

It's weird, I heavily applaud the show for being unique in it's setting, I'm just scared with its structure, with it being random games, then the final round with Ace winning, starting the whole thing again. I hope they introduce something to the show without it going stale.

I think when comparing Nago and Buffa, you need to take into account that Neon has not yet received the buckle intended for her. So in the next DGP, she has every chance to move Michinaga from second place. Although I think both of them will be pushed by PunkJack.
And I think the memories linger, because Buffa was called a veteran in the second episode and he knew that water was a weak buckle. About Neon not having her signature buckle yet, that'd only add more point into the sudden burst of fighting ability part. Quote:
I was using moral as a synonym for lesson or aesop, which can be anything beneficial to a person's life. Ace learned more than determination though, he learned to have empathy for people who have to be determined to get what they want. Victory came so easily for him before that he started taking it for granted, extending to his rival's losses, so he suggests for them to quit while they still have their lives and forget their problems as the best case scenario, thinking he's being helpful. Here, he's forced to test his own advice on himself and learns by watching Michinaga that there is no best case scenario where you're left unhappy with your life and that fighting against odds is virtue, not stupidity.
Otherwise, as established here, yeah normal can be really shitty for many people, and for those who take this too far, this can be the reason to justify depraved villains only because their actions would change normal, and heroes too are often portrayed as those who only keeps the status quo and fight to return everything to normal thus takes shit for that for 'ignoring' the society's clear flaws.
