I didn't notice it a first but I love how Inuzuka was panicking when Taro died. Because he didn't know about that.

That was a rather sweet episode.
I know a lot of people have turned against Kijino ever since he turned on Tsubasa, but I'm glad it seems he may be getting a happy ending. While we've known for a while now that Tarou loves the team, it's nice to know that the rest of the cast is aware of it, too, to the point that his inability to lie makes it impossible for him to hide. Also, Murasame comes back next episode. Neat.

This episode seemed like an epilogue. Like, for this Sentai season the point of the show was actually for two factions in conflict to learn how to work together. Episode 48 was the Sonos and the Donbros joining together officially, and 49 is the epilogue. Now of course we got some big freaks showing up for the last ep, but I gotta say I like the way this whole show turned out. The big plot was about two different factions learning to work together. Also this might be one of those examples of knowing that if you let a story go on for too long, it will end up being sad. If you were to stop the show here, you got a perfect happy ending. But the show still has one episode left, haha. |

Whatever has happened, and whatever might happen in the last episode, I think I can confidently say I enjoy this show a lot ^_^ The final scene of the episode especially of everybody celebrating Tarou's 'birthday' and then his 'death' is all so simultaneously sweet and funny, it really sums up everything I love about Donbrothers at once!

I was just thinking about inubro at the end again, he was clearly trying to run to Kaito too! Cuz that’s the guy who he knows can revive the dead.
Man. If you pay attention to the little things on this show, you can be rewarded. Thanks again for pointing this out, GrandComplete. |

"Tarou's dead!" Cheered the DonBrothers and Nooto (minus Inuzuka, cool detail you pointed out GrandComplete, I was too busy laughing at this scene to pay attention).
This was a really sweet episode, seeing everyone moving on with their lives and even seeing that one guy become a Hitotsuki again (thanks to Sonoshi) and basically becomes Tokiwa Sougo. Seeing Tarou go ham solo was fun to see again after so long and Sonoshi basically realizing he done goofed and joined the Don brothers (temporarily) was funny. There's going to be some loose ends that need clearing next episode... Next Episode: What's up? Don Murasame!
