Power Rangers In Space DX Mega Voyager Gallery
21 Attachment(s)
Power Rangers 20th Anniversary continues through March and Tokunation.com contiues it's tribute to Power Rangers In Space! Today we're taking a look at the DX Mega Voyager! The Mega Voyager (and Mega Winger) share the unique honor of being the only Power Ranger Megazords which share the names of their sentai robo counterparts, in this case from Denji Sentai Megaranger!
The voyager strays from the singular vehicle transformations of the Space Rangers first 2 Megazords and opts for a more traditional 5 piece combination. Each vehicle, named Mega V1 through Mega V5 , is unique to each ranger. V1 is a small robot which can operate on it's own, V2 and V3 can share a combined space rocket mode thanks to clips on the V3, and V4 & V5 are independent ships. In combined form a chunk from the rear section of V2 forms the head while the primary ship becomes a gigantic shield, and while sections of the V3 rocket form the legs and mid torso of the Voyager the forward section and capsule of the rocket form a large missile launcher! One of the few toys that I've kept around as a child, him and the Astro Delta I still have.

Was always jealous of my best friend at the time for having that when I only had the Astro Megazord.

My absolute favorite Mech from In Space. I loved how originally it combined. Not a Voltron, and not a Mess. It was perfect.

first big toy purchase I ever made as a kid, cost me $35 of my birthday money, kept him for years until my dad threw out my power ranger stuff (my dad will forever get hell from me for that :P ) but thanks to Sentai Tamashii, I have him again :D

Wait... Picture #20...
How did you get the missile launcher to stay level?! O_O This was one of my favorites as a kid. Been a while since I pulled it out, though... I'm sure it's seen better days and missing some stickers lol. Still, I think it's a great looking figure. Thanks for the gallery. Definitely feeling the nostalgia. :) |
Great gallery as always. I've got a junker and a half of this figure lying around, which I only own because I got it for about 5 dollars. This makes me want to touch it up at least a little bit, but I'm no good at that. Besides, the previous owner tried to panel line with a Sharpie. Simply horrifying.

The only Space Megazord I like. Specifically because it's made of 5 different colored Zord.
Please don't hate me for that. |
