rj for sure. i love the white dino costume but i am not a fan of trent the charecter.

Trent lied to his friends, held that burdan of lying to the only people that trusted him, all to protect his adoptive father. How exactly does wanting to protect family make you an unsympathetic doughbag?

Because although this was true, it was never actually followed through and instead it was awkwardly dropped and never mentioned again, so we learnt about what Trent felt but the show never actually depicted him following through with it or making it right.

Yes I did, both were characters whom I never felt played well with others. Both of them would have told their teammates to go stuff it if the inclination hit them strong enough. And both of them strongly believed in "might makes right," that their power was its own justification.

Whether one was a great character and one was a terrible character is irrelevant; the comparison here is totally valid for two Rangers who were loners at heart and worked best when left to their own devices. Very similar to the Magna Defender, whom only became a true ally after Mike gained his powers.

RJ, I like the laid back attitude, the costume and the setup of his restaurant/loft/HQ.

Trent, I like the costume's helmet's visor, the Tupuxuara, the pen-sword that can draw arrows and then fire them off at a target, but Abaranger has all that stuff. And Trent's Japanese counterpart probably is more interesting.

I pick RJ. Because he's badass.
