The combination of high school drama + electronics + video games is what makes Megaranger perfect. Although it is subtle, the fact that each member has abilities based off everyday electronics felt like it worked for its time. The casting was perfect and character dynamics were great as well.

Random trivia time:
* Denshi Sentai Denjiman was the first Super Sentai to use colored visors on their helmets, as previous teams had perforated masks. * DaiDenjin was the first transforming Super Sentai robot. * Choudenshi Bioman was the first Super Sentai team to have two female members. It was also the last series to have a roster change mid-season. * Episode 10 of Bioman remains controversial to fans due to its contradictory portrayal of Mika Koizumi/Yellow Four's death. Normally, in Super Sentai, a warrior's suit is deactivated if it sustains too much damage. Because Yuki Yajima left the show after episode 9, only the suit actor for Yellow Four appeared in the episode, and Mika died and was buried in her Bio Suit. * Denji Sentai Megaranger borrows many elements from Bioman, such as the suit designs and certain character elements such as Chisato Jougasaki/Mega Yellow being a photographer (a nod to Mika Koizumi/Yellow Four).
