I LOVED the first half of Sins, it just went downhill when it started revealing the plot and it turned out it didn't make a whole lot of sense. Still need to check out the live action movie.

Samurai's plot makes a hell of a lot more sense than all the exposition done in the latter half of Sins. All the mystery set up in the first half was ruined by underwhelming revelations and a shoddy ending.

Atleast it looked good all the way through I guess.

I'm not sure this counts or not but i always loved Guyver, altho my knowledge is limited but i'd love to know more. i used to own 2 dvd's with the first 6 or so episodes and i've seen the live action films as well. i have not seen the more recent series from a few years back so i can't judge that but man, that old anime series on those dvd's, i watched it over & over again, i found it awesome in every way, it had a transforming hero, an awesome suit, and really violent action at times, and a killer intro theme.

That's exactly the kind of anime i can get into, i wish i knew more series like that.

There's 2 animes actually. The newer one can be found on Hulu. I couldn't get into that version. There was a strange audio thing going out that made the characters speak way to low. Might just be the dub or Hulu's copy of the show.

Oh, and the manga was inspired by Kamen Rider.

Was thinking about this earlier, but the Powerpuff Girls Z anime falls into this category too. Coloured superheroes that transform and all.

They even have belt buckle things that they scan with rings. Wizard should crossover!

Powerpuff Girls Z is Magical Girls like Sailor Moon and whatever comes on after Kamen Rider. Magical Girls are pretty much just Sentai, but for girls.
