They killed Kamen Rider Lazer, who was a popular character and at that point had just as much, if not more importance in the show than other Riders as he had Level 3 and 5 forms, and unlike Snipe and arguably Taiga, character development

When Motoi Sasaki who is TV Asahi Producer was announced to be Head Producer of Kyuranger. It was first time a head Producer of Sentai Show wasn't Toei Producer

But what the difference between Toei and TV Asahi?

Toei is the company that produces Sentai and Kamen Rider. TV Asahi is the channel where people in Japan watch the two shows.

Why did they really have to pick ex-aid to be the main rider in the Kamen rider vs super sentai movie? I wish they did this movie with gaim or drive as the main rider. I just hate the ex-aid dude.

Gaim already had his spotlight in a Superhero Taisen movie and so did Drive. Ex-Aid's the most recent Rider; his toys are currently being sold in stores, so he’s the protagonist.
