As for the idea, well, wasn't the first Godzilla movie also in 1950, so only 5 years after the war? Technology levels will be similar here too I guess. Which will make stopping him pretty hard... But, I am just glad to see Godzilla back to destroying cities, instead of murdering random kaiju that never bothered him while humanity cheers for him as its savior...

It could also be that Godzilla attacks multiple times in this film, and this is just this lady's first time seeing him in person after being told about it.

I don't see "Limited Screening" or "Select Theaters", so this makes me ecstatic! I'll finally see a Japanese film in theaters (unless I go to Japan and watch it first, but I'd probably watch it again anyway)!

I still say I'm more excited for this than Legacy of Monsters or The New Empire (which has sadly been delayed until further notice), but I'm a simple man. Anything Godzilla related will probably gain my attention.

And while it goes without saying, I absolutely love how this movie looks! Godzilla looks magnificent, the vintage Japan background helps this movie stand out, and so far, the music sounds great! Very much looking forward to seeing this!

I'm pretty excited for this. It looks like a nice blend of both the US and Japanese films. I do miss the suits, though...but I could always just go back to the 30 or so films made in that style
